The Flexi Smart insurance provides building insurance cover between exchange of contracts and completion for up to 28 days. Once exchange has happened you can then search the market or ask the Northcott Broker to do that for you. You could transfer your existing policy or compare alternative insurance policies. The valuable thinking time after exchange will help you make an informed choice on what to do going forward.

It is a Mortgage Lender requirement that on exchange of contracts, building insurance is in place and provides the required cover.
